Your first time with peptides, explained without jargon.

If you've never bought a peptide before, this guide is for you. In 5 minutes you'll know what they are, whether they're right for you, how they're used, and what to order first — no technical jargon.

01 — Simple definition

What is a peptide?

A peptide is a small chain of amino acids. Think of it as a messenger for the body: it tells cells what to do — repair this tissue, regulate appetite, release growth hormone, improve sleep.

It's not a protein

It's shorter. A protein has hundreds of amino acids; a peptide has dozens.

It's not a steroid

It's not a synthetic masculinizing hormone. It's a signaling molecule.

It's not a supplement

It's not a vitamin. These are active molecules with a specific mechanism.

02 — Is this for me?

Choose your goal

Each goal has 1-2 classic compounds to start with. You don't need more than that at first.

Body composition

I want to lose weight or control my appetite.

Start with:

Recovery or injury

I have an ache, an injury, or want to recover faster.

Start with:

Energy and sleep

I want to sleep better, focus more, or feel less stressed.

Start with:

Skin, hair and anti-aging

I want to improve my skin, collagen, or signs of aging.

03 — How it's used

No fear of needles

The syringe used is the same one people with diabetes use at home: ultra-thin, painless. Here are the 4 steps:

1

Your vial arrives

It's a small vial with white freeze-dried (dry) powder. It travels better and lasts longer this way.

2

You reconstitute it

You add bacteriostatic water with a syringe. The powder dissolves in seconds.

3

You calculate your dose

You use the calculator to work out how many units on the insulin syringe equal your dose.

4

You inject subcutaneously

Pinch a bit of fat in the abdomen, rotating the site. It feels like a quick, small pinch.

04 — Safety and quality

Is it safe? Is it good quality?

≥99% purity verified by HPLC
High-performance liquid chromatography, the analytical standard for confirming a compound's identity and purity.
Certificate of Analysis (COA) per batch
Every batch has a document you can check, with its purity, identity and spectrometry results.
Chromasys analytical laboratory
Independent analysis carried out by a laboratory specialized in peptides.
Research framework
Products are sold for scientific research. You decide how and for what you use them.
EXOMA Peptides is not a clinic and does not issue diagnoses. If you have medical conditions, are pregnant, or take medication, consult a professional first.
05 — Your first order

Checklist of what you need

To start from zero you only need three things:

  1. 1
    1 peptide
Whichever matches your goal (see section 2).
  2. 2
    Bacteriostatic water (BAC)
The liquid used to reconstitute the powder. One 30 mL bottle is enough for several vials.
  3. 3
    U-100 insulin syringes
    Ultra-thin (31G, 0.5 mL). Available at pharmacies.

06 — Questions everyone asks

The most common first-time questions

Does it hurt?
Very little. The insulin syringe is ultra-thin (31G). Most people compare the feeling to a quick pinch.
How soon will I notice something?
It depends on the compound. Weight loss with GLP-1: 2–4 weeks. Recovery with BPC-157: days to 2 weeks. Sleep with DSIP: the same night.
Does it need refrigeration?
Before reconstituting: 15–25 °C, protected from light. Once reconstituted: 2–8 °C (fridge, not freezer).
How long does a vial last?
It depends on your dose. A 10 mg Tirzepatide vial at 5 mg/week lasts 2 weeks. A 5 mg BPC-157 vial at 250 mcg/day lasts ~20 days.
What if I have leftover powder?
Nothing to worry about: just store it until you use it. Only reconstitute what you'll use within a few weeks.
Does it expire?
Freeze-dried: 24+ months when stored correctly. Reconstituted: 30 days refrigerated as a general reference.
Can I combine it with supplements or medication?
It depends. Some combinations are synergistic and others require caution. Use the interaction checker or consult a professional.
Do I need a prescription?
Products are sold for research purposes. The decision and responsibility for use is the buyer's.
Can I combine two peptides?
Yes, there are classic combinations (BPC-157 + TB-500, CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin). It's best to start with just one to identify your response.
What if I get the dose wrong?
Start with the lowest dose in the range. It's better to titrate up than to have to lower it later. Always use the calculator.
